Prayers appreciated.
Hello friends. This is going to be a short post--mostly I am asking for prayers and mentioning an update. Not this past Friday but the one before, my husband and I went to the ER and found out we have miscarried our baby. I know all is in God's hands and He is in control which helps, but it still has had it's rough moments. When I went to the doctor the past week I also found I have a potential growth inside of me (they aren't too concerned I guess it happens sometimes and isn't that big of a deal) but it will need to be removed. Prayers are greatly appreciated for us and also if you can, please pray I can heal! I appreciate this lots :)

Working on a Logo
Hi Friends! I have a smallish update for the night. For one I've been working STILL on setting the house up more, putting things in their new, hopefully permanent places. It's still slow but it's going.
Today I finally was able to work on some more drawing projects that have been waiting in the queue for a while. That was nice. I've also been thinking--I have made logos for other people in the past, yet I don't yet have one of my own! So I've been TRYING to come up with an idea for a new logo for me! I want your input, please! I'm thinking of a silhouette of a fox pouncing towards a bucket of art supplies surrounded by lattices covered in grapes or maybe a celtic design making the lattices. But I'm not sure. Here's a super rough draft of the idea--can I have your kind input? Feel free to be critical, I can learn from that too :)
I have one other question as a new-timer being pregnant I want to do things right! Do you have any tips for eating healthy? I try for a start but think I can maybe do a bit better and would love tips! Thanks so much!

My Finished Craft!
Here is my finished sewing of a blackbird/crow atop a prim pumpkin! Let me know what you think and any critique--I haven't done something quite like this before and I'm willing to learn! Also the crow was made from a patter I made from scratch. It needs some tweaks but it's not too bad. :)

A Fun Day!
Today was a fun day--though now I am quite tired after it all! This morning Baby Fox and I went over to my mother-in-law's house to make some applesauce! It was so much fun spending the day with her and we ended up making lots! This was my FIRST experience making it!
(please pardon the quality of the pics I only had my cell phone on me today!) First I brought over my canning equipment (some of which I found at the local thrift store!) and a great amount of my bushel of apples Mr. Fox and I got at the farm market the other week ago. Don't they look tasty? They are many varieties.
And we cooked them.. And cooked them.. And cooked them. The first batch took forever as we learned a tall but skinnier pot wasn't as convenient as just using a canning pot to cook them in. We did that with the second batch. We also added apples as I cooked to make the most out of this batch.
Getting closer and closer now! I am so excited about all this! We added a touch of nutmeg and some cinnamon and sugar to make it taste sweeter! While we worked we talked about making baby food with a food mill. Funnily enough I had already been thinking of making my own baby food when he/she comes as I found a book at a goodwill months ago on making baby food from scratch. Here's a LINK if you want to see. Not sure if that will really pan out of course but the idea of making some from scratch seems a healthier and cheaper idea to me thusfar.
In the end, I had nine quarts full of yummy applesauce to bring home for my husband and I to eat through this upcoming winter! We made several more jars for my new mom and dad to enjoy too.
Have a good day and blessings to you all! :)

The Big Announcment
Hello friends! I know I told you last night I would be posting some news today so here I am to tell you about it!
Last Saturday my husband Mr. Fox and I were going to go to his parents house and as we tend to sometimes make sweet fruity mixed drinks when we go over there I wanted to know if I could have a nice full one to myself (as opposed to sipping off my husband's) plus I'd been feeling a bit off lately.. More emotional for one, and my face was breaking out more than usual and some things were just.. off. So I took a pregnancy test to find out what was going on and if it'd be ok to drink or not. The test was questionable. The horizontal line was very faint but the vertical was very strong. It was exciting to think maybe I was possibly pregnant but I wanted to get another test to make sure.
The next morning I took the second one and it confirmed clearly what I had wondered--Mr. Fox and I are expecting a Little Fox--we think sometime early next June! We are both very excited! The funny thing is we were at his parents' all day but we keep the exciting news in because I had asked Mr. Fox if I could tell my family first as they live so far away and don't get to see me--and therefore might find it special to learn first. That evening when we went back home we called up my family first and for the first half of the phone call mostly all you could hear was exciting screams and such! I guess my siblings were calling each other aunts and uncle :)
We then called Mr. Fox's parents--aka the Ravenwood Whimzie peeps! They also were very excited and wondered how we could be with them all day and manage to hold it in! Believe me--it wasn't easy! The day we found out was also our three month wedding anniversary so that was very special.
I am also excited to give you a preview on a project I am working on! I FINALLY got my sewing machine wedding present set up and have been wanting to sew SEW bad! Haha (pardon my pun). I had a desire to make a pumpkin. Here is what I have so far--it isn't done and it looks better in better light. It's made from hand painted, sanded, and stained muslin with a curly vine and wool felt leaves! I will be making a crow to go on top of it.
I have to go now--it's family time but I'll keep you all posted! Thanks so much for reading!
